Sheldon, Iowa — It’s that time of year again, time for the Sheldon FFA to begin selling their sweet corn.
FFA President Zoey Koerselman says the group had several different planting times this year to guarantee a supply of the delicious vegetable throughout the summer months.
The kids say their seeing good yields on their crop this year, and plan to pick 125 dozen ears Wednesday (July 20th), and another 125 dozen ears on Thursday (July 21st).
The sweet treat will be available at Hy-Vee and Fareway in Sheldon starting Wednesday (July 20th), at Hy-Vee in Fareway in Sioux Center beginning Thursday (July 21st), and at Fareway in Orange City next week.
