Jazz Band Showcase Is Monday

musicSheldon, Iowa — This is a busy season for high school musicians.  Sheldon high school instrumental and vocal musicians kept busy with solo and ensemble contest this Saturday, and right on the heels of that contest is Monday’s night’s Sheldon Middle School and High School Jazz Band Showcase, which will be held Monday evening in the Sheldon High School Auditorium.

Jeana Larson is Sheldon Middle School Band Director, and she tells us that there are three middle school jazz bands who will be performing Monday night.

Larson talks about the pieces of music each band will be performing at the Jazz Band Showcase.

Monday’s Sheldon Middle School/High School Jazz Band Festival begins at 7:00 pm in the Sheldon High School Auditorium.
