Kendal Zylstra Files for Iowa House District 4

Larchwood, Iowa — Kendal Zylstra of Larchwood has officially filed his papers for the Republican primary in Iowa House District 4.

The new District 4 includes Lyon County and the communities of Sioux Center, Rock Valley, Hull, Boyden, Matlock, and the western portion of Sheldon in Sioux County.

Zylstra says that, having lived in the new District 4 his entire life, he decided to run because he understands and believes in northwest Iowa values. Zylstra says he continues to look to promote a conservative platform on behalf of northwest Iowans.

Zylstra says he’s running to advocate for deregulation, lower taxes, and for rural economic development. Zylstra says he believes in promoting business and agriculture in the state, strengthening education, and standing for an unapologetically pro-life agenda.

The primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7th.
