Sheldon, Iowa – The Sheldon Prairie Queen Kiwanis Club will be holding their Annual Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive this weekend. This drive has always been one of their most successful projects, and they hope that this year will be no different.
This Friday and Saturday, May 21st and 22nd, Kiwanis members will be at Hy-Vee and Fareway in Sheldon to accept your donations of peanut butter and jelly.
Community members are encouraged to consider purchasing peanut butter, jelly, or both, when they come into the stores and drop off their donations at the table that will be set up at the entrance. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
The theme of this year’s drive is, “Because NO kid should go to bed hungry.
