Northwest Iowa — You need only step outside today to realize that winter weather is upon us. However, far too many of us neglect to prepare our vehicles for winter driving.
Iowa State Patrol Trooper Vince Kurtz appeared on the Kiwa Morning Show Tuesday, and talked about the importance of a Winter Survival Kit in case you’re stranded in your car during inclement weather.

Your best bet, though, is to avoid situations where you might become stranded. Keep tuned to KIWA, and if the weather isn’t conducive to travel, just stay home.
