Northwest Iowa — Thousands of northwest Iowans will make at least one trip to the Clay County Fair in Spencer this week, including Iowa State Patrol Trooper Vince Kurtz.
Trooper Kurtz appeared last week on the KIWA Morning Show with Wayne & Aaron, and talked about the Iowa State Patrol’s booth at the Clay County Fair.
Kurtz called the fair booth “proactive”.
He says the best part of the fair booth is being able to interact with people without being in an enforcement situation.
The Clay County Fair, billed as the “World’s Greatest County Fair”, began this past weekend, and continues through Sunday, September 18th at the Fairgrounds in Spencer.
