Boyden, Iowa — A major local employer is reportedly engaging in a large employee layoff today.
Sources tell KIWA that Dethmers Manufacturing in Boyden, better known as Demco, is laying off what is described as a “substantial” number of people.
We have, thus far, been unable to reach Demco officials for comment, but will bring you further information when it becomes available.
