LLRC Completing Reopening In The Wake Of Pandemic

Sheldon, Iowa — The Lifelong Learning and Recreation Center at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon was one of the fitness facilities ordered closed earlier this year in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. LLRC Director, Dr. Greta Giese, says they’ve been gradually reopening since May.

Dr. Giese says she’s always been proud of the way the LLRC staff have kept the facility clean, but now they’ve kicked it up another notch.

She says the LLRC is once again open seven days a week.

In addition to reopening the LLRC facility, Dr. Giese says they’ve also been keeping up to date with their social media channels.

She says they’re doing their group fitness classes a little bit differently these days.

Dr. Giese says you can even register for the classes on the NCC website, or call the LLRC at 712-324-2493 for assistance in registering.
