Spirit Lake, Iowa (KUOO) – Lakes Regional Healthcare (LRH) has once again made the list of the Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals in the U.S.
It’s the eighth-consecutive year LRH has achieved the distinction by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. Hospital President and CEO Jason Harrington says it speaks volume for the entire staff and all the physicians at LRH.
Harrington says they had to meet a list of criteria.
Harrington also thanked the community for making the honor possible.
Harrington adds that while they’re proud of the recognition, they go above and beyond because it’s best for patients and the community.
