Rock Rapids, Iowa — Lyon County has a new official website. And all county departments are now on the same site.
We talked to Lyon County Auditor Jen Smit, and she says they changed vendors, and so their domain name had to change.
She tells us about some new features.
She says the idea has been in the works for a while.

According to Smit, it’s too early to tell what the reaction from the public is to the new site, but she says most of the internal users seem to like it so far.
The new site is lyoncounty.iowa.gov.
