Sheldon, Iowa — A local truck body manufacturer has made a donation to a group that helps serve meals in the wake of disasters.
Maintainer of Sheldon donated a service truck body on Tuesday, April 3rd, to Operation BBQ Relief. Professional Competitive BBQ chefs were on hand to cook for Maintainer employees prior to the presentation.
Stan Hays, the CEO of Operation BBQ Relief tells us about their organization.
He says they thought they’d be in Joplin for 4 or 5 days and serve four or five thousand meals. But he says it turned into something much bigger.
