Sheldon, Iowa — According to Curt Strouth at the Sheldon Chamber and Development Corporation, Sheldon Chamber Director Shanelle Matus has tendered her resignation, effective November first.
Strouth says Matus has served, “..over 12 very strong years in the position during two different stints.” He says that Matus brought unparalleled energy and passion to her job on a daily basis, which he says, “…was apparent through the many successful events that she coordinated for our community and SCDC businesses members.”
Strouth says, “One of Shanelle’s strongest qualities was her work and coordination with the many volunteers that helped assist with our organization through the many events that she coordinated. Without these relationships with the public and our membership, these events would not as successful as they were, and Shanelle knew that.”
Strouth says he wants to thank Matus and wish her the best in the future.
According to Strouth, Matus’s last day in the office is set for Friday, November 1.
