Sheldon, Iowa — An accident involving a farm implement Thursday morning has sent one man to a Sioux Falls Hospital.
Shortly before 9:20 Thursday morning, Sheldon emergency crews were dispatched to Ziegler Cat, which is located on Highway 18, just east of the Highway 60 interchange, for the report of a man pinned under a combine.
Sources tell us the 20-year-old victim is a truck driver who is not a resident of the Sheldon area. He was transported to Sanford Sheldon Medical Center, then airlifted to Sioux Falls for treatment of his injuries.
