Spirit Lake, Iowa — There have been several more moose sightings in the Iowa Great Lakes area.
The Dickinson County Communications Center received numerous reports Wednesday morning of a bull moose seen wandering around in the city of Spirit Lake. Several sightings were reported just west of Memorial Park. It was reported being seen a short time later in the Francis Sites area.
Authorities remind everyone that if you see a moose, you should stay away from it as they can become aggressive if they’re agitated or frightened.
It isn’t certain if this is the same moose spotted a couple of weeks ago on the west side of Big Spirit Lake.
