Sheldon, Iowa — The enrollment numbers for Spring 2017 are in for Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, and unlike some other post-secondary schools, their enrollment numbers are WAY up.
NCC President, Dr. Alethea Stubbe talks about the Spring 2017 enrollment numbers.
Stubbe calls the enrollment numbers a tribute and testament to NCC’s reputation and value.
She credits NCC’s articulation agreements with several area 4-year colleges, that allow NCC students to transfer credits to another institution to use toward their 4-year degree, as part of the reason for the record enrollment. She says taking your first two years of classes at NCC allows a student to save a great deal of money in tuitions.
Northwest Iowa Community College offers over 40 programs of study, including applied technology programs, health and business programs, and Arts & Science transfer programs. 2017 marks the school’s 51st year serving northwest Iowa.
