New Library Director Excited About Coming To Sheldon

Nicole MorganSheldon, Iowa — Earlier this week we told you that the Sheldon Public Library Board of Trustees had selected a new Library Director to replace former Library Director Ruth Rodvik, who retired in November.

Nicole Morgan will take the helm at the Sheldon Library later this month.  She is currently working as Library Director in Oskaloosa.  Morgan tells us about her library background.

She tells us about some of her priorities when she starts work in Sheldon.

Morgan says she’s excited about coming to Sheldon, and going to work at the Sheldon Public Library.

Morgan is a northwest Iowa native, growing up in Sioux Rapids, and her family now lives in Peterson.  She told KIWA that close proximity to family was one of the reasons she decided to pursue the Sheldon position.

She will begin her duties at the Sheldon Public Library on March 20th.
