Midwest Medical Transport Company Marks One Year In Sheldon

Midwest AmbulanceSheldon, Iowa — Just over a year ago Midwest Medical Transport Company opened a facility in Sheldon as a base of operations for healthcare facility to facility patient transfers throughout northwest Iowa.

Matt Travers is Business Development Director for Midwest Medical Transport, and we asked him how the first year of operation of their Sheldon station has been.

Travers says their have one ambulance in Sheldon that is staffed 24/7, with a second, backup ambulance at their disposal in the Sheldon location, as well.

We asked him if Midwest Medical Transport has plans to staff their second ambulance.

Travers says that Midwest Medical Transport is an ALS, or Advanced Life Support ambulance that backs up local ambulance services for inter-facility regional transport.

He says the company has a wide network of locations.

With their first year of operation from Sheldon in the books, we asked Travers what the next year holds in store for the company.

Midwest Medical Transport’s Sheldon facility is located in the Sheldon Crossing area of Sheldon, just north of the Pizza Ranch, across the street from Neal Chase Lumber.
