New Restaurant Still On Track To Open In Sheldon

Sheldon, Iowa — There have been some rumors flying around about a new restaurant coming to Sheldon. And we’ve talked to the guy who’s in charge, to tell us more.

Jody Nibbelink and his wife Andrea run the “Train Station” restaurant in Alton. And they tell us they’ll soon be bringing “Train Station II” to Sheldon, in the building that used to house the “Iron Horse” many years ago, and most recently “Old 60 Steaks and Chops.”

Nibbelink says there are a few hoops that have to be jumped through yet, but they’re still on track.

He tells us what they’ve been doing lately.

Again, they hope to open by mid-May, but it might be early summer.
