Newsboys To Make Third RiseFest Appearance

Sheldon, Iowa — Rise Ministries in Sheldon, the parent organization behind the annual RiseFest Christian music festival, has announced the fourth act to appear on the RiseFest 2019 stage this coming summer.

Rise Ministries founder and president, Rob Roozeboom, made the artist announcement on Tuesday’s KIWA Morning Show.

Newsboys will wrap up RiseFest 2019 on Saturday night, June 22nd. They join Skillet, Zach Williams, and I Am They as announced artists for next summer’s festival.

RiseFest 2019 will mark the third appearance at the festival for Newsboys. They have sold more than 10-million records and amassed 8 Gold certifications, 33 number-one radio hits, four GRAMMY nominations, two American Music Award nominations and taken home multiple Dove Awards. In addition, their Platinum-certified single, “God’s Not Dead,” inspired Pure Flix’s 2014 hit film of the same name.

Newsboys is just the first of multiple artist announcements scheduled for this week, according to Roozeboom.

He says ticket sales went well in November, with those who took advantage of the November “Price Slide” ticket purchases paying just $22.92 for their tickets. Roozeboom says there’s a special Christmas Stocking Stuffer ticket special going on now until Christmas Eve.

He says camping reservations are now being accepted for RiseFest 2019, which runs June 21st and 22nd in Sheldon. To reserve a camping spot, buy tickets, or just get more information, you can visit riseministries.com.
