Sheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon business building that has sat empty for the past three years has been purchased by an existing Sheldon business.
Daniel Ten Clay of Northwest Decor tells KIWA that they have purchased the building on Business 60 that formerly housed the Sheldon Bomgaars store before that business relocated to a new, much larger facility just east of the highway 18 and 60 junction back in 2017.
Ten Clay says Northwest Decor has outgrown the warehouse space available in their store location on 3rd Avenue, and is using the Business 60 facility for additional warehouse space. In addition, Ten Clay tells KIWA that, while the location won’t be used as retail space, they do have plans do operate the distribution of floor coverings from that location.
