Northwest Iowa FFA Members To Take Part In Proficiency, State Degree, and District Office Review Day

Northwest Iowa — This Saturday is a big day for many FFA students. We talked to Sheldon High School FFA Advisor, Mr. Jacob Fox.

He gives us an idea about what will be happening at District Review Day.

Mr. Fox gives us a few more details.

Fox tells us that there is a little difference between the potential Iowa Degree recipients and the Proficiency Award candidates, in that if they pass Saturday’s checks the potential Iowa Degree recipients will receive the Iowa Degree in April. But the Proficiency Award candidates are only vying for the opportunity to compete at the state level. He tells us what the Iowa Degree is.

Mr. Fox tells us who the student/members are who are running for district office.

Fox says they’re really hoping that at least one of the candidates becomes a district officer next year.
