Sheldon, Iowa — This is National Nurses Week. Dr. Ryan Becker, a physician at Sanford Sheldon tells us the healthcare profession depends on nurses.
He tells us that while it takes a special kind of person to be a nurse, nurses that he works with tell him it’s a very rewarding profession.
Dr. Becker says they recognize their nurses during Nurses Week by publicizing Nurses Week and by thanking their nurses in many ways. He says Sanford also has a program by which nurses and support staff can be honored.
