Primghar, Iowa — Recent studies have indicated that a greater number of Iowans are “food insecure” in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Brenda Collier of the O’Brien County Upper Des Moines Opportunity Food Pantry says they saw the greatest use of their food pantry last year, but things have kind of leveled off now.
She says the O’Brien County UDMO is still operating under COVID restrictions as to how they dispense the food items to their clients.
Collier says that, while their demand isn’t astronomical at this time, there are certain items they need badly.
She expressed her appreciation for the generosity of the donors to the O’Brien County UDMO Food Pantry.
