Sheldon, Iowa — On Friday, March 25th, five 8th graders from Sheldon Middle School participated in the State Science and Technology Fair of Iowa at Hilton Coliseum on the Iowa State University campus in Ames.
After a day of presenting their science experiment projects to a variety of judges, the 8th graders showcased their ability to communicate, through their exhibit and interviews, their project question, results they collected, and what they learned from their testing. Awards were handed out Friday evening and the Sheldon students took away a variety of awards and recognitions.
The five Sheldon 8th graders and their awards were:
