Orange City, Iowa — Healthgrades — the healthcare-focused site that provides information about physicians, hospitals, and healthcare providers for patients — has recognized Orange City Area Health System for outstanding patient experience for the fifth consecutive year.
OCAHS officials tell us Healthgrades evaluates patient experience based on 10 measures, using data collected from surveys of the hospital’s own patients. Hospitals in the top 15% are recognized as Outstanding Patient Experience Award™ recipients.
Marty Guthmiller, CEO of Orange City Area Health System says that this type of recognition “means so much to us because it comes from our own patients,” He says it’s truly a reflection of the “professionalism and compassion of our entire staff. It is through their efforts that this award-winning culture can be offered to those we are here to serve.”
Orange City Area Health System is one of 12 hospitals in Iowa to receive this award for 2023.
