Orange City, Iowa — A northwest Iowa hospital has received a high honor.
Officials of Orange City Area Health System say they are pleased to announce the facility has been named a 2019 Guardian of Excellence Award winner by Press Ganey. Orange City Area Health System CEO Marty Guthmiller says the Guardian of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing health care organizations that have achieved the 95th percentile or above of performance in Patient Experience.
He tells us how Press Ganey came to their decision.
Guthmiller says the award is a “real testament” to the care that the health system’s people provide. He says it’s basically the patient telling the staff that they appreciate the care that they provide.
