Sibley, Iowa — It’s time for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Osceola County.
We had a chance to talk to Jackie Kannegieter with the Osceola County chapter of the American Cancer Society. She tells us what they have planned.
She tells us how you can get a luminaria bag to honor a loved one or a loved one’s memory.
She says the survivor lap is for those who have battled cancer.
They are raising money for cancer research, but as Kannegieter reminds us, it’s more about standing together as a community to support cancer survivors and fight back against cancer.
Again, that’s the Osceola County Relay For Life — this Friday night, August 7th, at the Sibley-Ocheyedan Track in Sibley.
