Osceola County Roads Nearly Back To Normal After Flood

Sibley, Iowa — Flooding has been an issue and continues to be an issue in parts of our area, especially around rivers.

We had a chance to get an update on the flooded roads in Osceola County from Osceola County Secondary Roads Engineer Aaron Holmbeck. He tells us they do still have some closed roads.


Holmbeck says their hard-surfaced roads are all open to traffic.


He says conditions are slowly improving.


He says things are going better than he expected.


Holmbeck says they hope to finish taking care of flood-related problems this week.
