Over 240 Set To Graduate From NCC On Friday

Sheldon, Iowa — Over 240 students will graduate from Northwest Iowa Community College on Friday, May 12, 2017.

College officials say that the Associate Degree Nursing Pinning Ceremony will be held in the Northwest Iowa Community College Lifelong Learning and Recreation Center at 10:00 a.m. Thirty-eight nursing graduates will receive their pins. The Student Keynote Speaker is Amanda Elgersma of Sanborn, who is an Associate Degree Nursing graduate. The Faculty Speaker is registered nurse Dawn Recher, RN, MSN.

The Spring Commencement ceremony will also be held in the Lifelong Learning and Recreation Center at 1:30 p.m. The Commencement address will be given by Susanna Schriever of Rock Rapids, who is also an Associate Degree Nursing graduate. The Alumnus of the Year and the Outstanding Student Leadership Award will also be presented at the ceremony.
