Pausley Leaves Okoboji Bible Conference To Be CEO Of Arnolds Park

Arnolds Park, Iowa — The executive director of Okoboji Bible Conference Ministries has resigned that position to become CEO of Arnolds Park Amusement Park.

Jon Pausley comes to Historic Arnolds Park Amusement Park from the Okoboji Bible Conference Ministries (OBCM) organization, another Iowa Great Lakes favorite summer organization. He served as the Executive Director at OBCM for the past 4 years and has lived in the area since 2013.

During his time at OBCM, Jon led the Okoboji Bible Conference through a renovation of nearly their entire campus property. The campus renovation also led to an overhaul of their branding and visual identity. The Okoboji Bible Conference has grown substantially in attendance under his leadership and has become available as a live stream during their Conference week.

Jon has been a great advocate for the Okoboji Bible Conference in the community bringing partnership and collaboration, along with regional leadership and development opportunities, to their campus. In 2020, due to capacity restrictions, Jon led the Okoboji Bible Conference to move one of the concerts from their building on Broadway to Preservation Plaza. The concert in the Park is now heading into its third year.

Pausley will officially start his position as CEO at Arnolds Park on May 1st.
