Primghar, Iowa — A Primghar Physician Assistant has had his license suspended by the Iowa Board of Physician Assistants.
According to Board of Physician Assistants, Anthony Greg Peters has admitted to sending text messages and a photograph of a sexual nature to a patient, having sexual intercourse with a patient on two occasions, and disclosing patient information to a third person without permission from the patient.
Online documents indicate that Peters agreed to voluntarily surrender his license to practice as a physician assistant for one-year. At the end of the one-year period Peters can apply for reinstatement, and would be required to submit evidence that shows the Board the basis for the surrender no longer exists.
The Board says he must also complete a comprehensive professional sexual misconduct evaluation and comply with all recommendations of the evaluator and submit documentation to the Board before his license can be reinstated.
