Northwest Iowa — While we could see some showers and thunderstorms on Thursday, only light amounts are expected.
Attention turns to Friday and into the weekend as a large scale storm system moves in bringing the potential for widespread rain and wind Friday into early Sunday. While confidence in timing and rainfall accumulation is increasing, there is still uncertainties in location of the heaviest rainfall. While we are cautiously optimistic, hopefully this alleviates drought conditions a touch!
