RiseFest 2020 Changes Festival Date

Sheldon, Iowa — Rise Ministries, the parent organization behind RiseFest has postponed RiseFest 2020, due to the current COVID-19 outbreak.

In a statement Monday morning, Rise Ministries say they have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 Pandemic both nationally and regionally.  They go on to say that continue to pray for those who are touched by this disease and our entire population that are dealing with the many changes in their day to day life.

The statement went on to say that, after much deliberation and communication between all parties involved, the entire RiseFest team is committed to making the festival happen in 2020.  With all things considered they say they feel it is in the best interest of the festival to move the date from June to Labor Day weekend and have the festival take place September 4th and 5th.

Rise Ministries President and Founder Rob Roozeboom says, “It hasn’t been an easy decision, but we feel it’s in the best interest of you our festival-goers, our artists and volunteers, and all involved with the festival that we make this very important change.” He says, “We’re as excited to share RiseFest with you as you are to experience it, but everyone’s health comes first. Thank you for understanding and being supportive. We can’t wait to see you in September.”

Tickets purchased for the original dates will still be valid in September. More announcements will be made as we move forward together through this difficult time. For now please note the date change for RiseFest 2020. We hope you’ll join us Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5.
