Rock Valley Man Faces Felony Drug Charges

dezeeuwp49973Rock Valley, Iowa — A Rock Valley man faces felony charges after the execution of a search warrant on his residence Tuesday (November 15th).

According to Rock Valley Police Chief Monte Warburton, his officers, along with deputies from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department, executed that search warrant at 1229 15th Street in Rock Valley.  Warburton says evidence obtained during the search led to the arrest of 35-year old Pierce DeZeeuw of Rock Valley.

Warburton says DeZeeuw was transported to the Sioux County Jail, and booked on charges of:  Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine-a class B felony, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana-a class D felony, Possession of Marijuana-3rd or Subsequent Offense-an Aggravated Misdemeanor, Child Endangerment-an Aggravated Misdemeanor, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-a simple misdemeanor.  At last report, DeZeeuw remained in the Sioux County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Chief Warburton says the investigation is ongoing, and he says more arrests are expected.
