Sheldon, Iowa — Sanford Health is planning a large expansion to its Sanford Sheldon Clinic. The 4,000 square foot expansion to the east side of the existing clinic will feature 8 additional exam rooms and 4 procedure rooms.
Rick Nordahl, senior director of Sanford Sheldon, says they are thrilled to expand their clinic space to continue offering convenient care options to their patients with the latest technologies and treatment modalities. He says they continue to grow and serve more patients in the Sheldon community and this new space will allow them to continue to enhance the care and services they provide in the future.
Sanford Sheldon Clinic has 26 providers, which includes family physicians and practitioners as well as specialists who visit monthly to see patients, providing convenient care close to home. Specialties include surgery, cardiology (pediatric and adult), urogynecology, urology, orthopedics, nephrology, podiatry, radiology and behavioral health.
Construction on the expansion will be complete in the Spring of 2023. A community groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 10:00 am to the east of the current Sanford Sheldon Clinic.
