Seasons Center To Help Kids Decide What They Want To Share About Their Adoption Story

Sioux Center, Iowa — Seasons Center for Behavioral Health is hosting a training session called “WISE Up: A Training for Adoptive Families.” This is a free, two-hour training course for adoptive parents and school-aged children to learn how to answer questions about their adoption story.

Nikki Van Ginkel, Seasons Center’s Director of Clinical Services tells us about the class, which will be Monday evening, April 15th, 2019, from 5-7 p.m. at the Sioux Center Seasons office, located at 147 South Main Avenue in Sioux Center.

Parents will be in a separate session, and will learn how to help their kids with situations they may encounter, says Van Ginkel. She tells us that anyone is welcome, and that they can register for the training at https://bit.ly/2OdoyUP, or you can call (800) 242-5101.
