Northwest Iowa — A number of northwest Iowans have been named by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds to serve on various state advisory boards, and councils, according to the Governor’s website.
Named to the Governor’s Norhwest Regional STEM Advisory Board were: Nancy McDowell of Sheldon; Teresa Putnam of Hartley; Jordan Menning of Rock Rapids; Kiana Johnson of Primghar; Ben Bouzma of Hawarden; Ginny Gunderson of Lake Park; and Brenda Welch of Meriden.
In addition, Janine Calsbeek of Orange City was named to the Iowa Arts Council, while Emma Bouzma of Hawarden and Marsha Draayer of Sioux Center were both named to the Iowa Council For Early Access.
