Northwest Iowa — A complex Spring storm system will bring the potential for severe weather to the region Friday and Saturday.
While exact timing and location are still uncertain, the pattern favors multiple periods with severe weather risks. Please stay weather aware, and be ready to seek shelter when storms approach!
Southeast winds increase again across the region on Friday, remaining strong with gusts to around 50 mph on Saturday as directions swing around the southwest. Humidity levels will increase slightly with a chance for thunderstorms, but with persistent dry vegetation, the very strong winds will result in areas of elevated fire danger.
