Sheldon Church Buys Building Supplies To Send To Nebraska Flood Victims

Sheldon, Iowa — A load of lumber and building supplies from northwest Iowa is headed to flood victims in Nebraska.

Members of the Sheldon First Reformed Church gave the money to buy the supplies. First Reformed’s Darla Van Meeteren tells us where she got the idea.

She says they’ve been getting together a load of lumber, insulation, and drywall that is being sent down this Saturday. According to Van Meeteren, they may also be sending down a load of electrical supplies in a week or so to help people rebuild their homes.

She tells us where the idea of building supplies came from.

VanMeeteren says that if you want to donate, you can contact the Sheldon First Reformed Church.
