Sheldon, Iowa — O’Brien County Development director Kiana Johnson will present a County Development Update to the Sheldon City Council at their meeting Wednesday July 19th. The Council will also hold a Public Hearing on a proposed amendment to the Sheldon Urban Renewal Plan.
The Council will also set the date and time for two more public hearings. One of those will be on proposed amendments to the Sheldon Zoning Ordinance. The other will be on the Prairie Trail Multifamily Residential Urban Revitalization Plan. This will be followed by consideration of a Resolution of Necessity for implementing that Revitalization Plan.
In other action the council will consider approval of the wages for the Assistant Recreation Director.
Wednesday’s meeting begins at 4:30 in the upper level of the Sheldon Community Services Center.
