Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Golden Egg has been found. Cally & Harper Holtrop found the egg in a pine tree by the pond near Crossroads Pavilion on Sheldon’s east side.
The pair received $450 in Sheldon dollars and turned the egg in on Monday morning after finding it on Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the Sheldon Kids’ Easter Egg Hunt is planned for Saturday, April 4th, at 10 a.m.
Eight bikes will be given away, but you have to fill out a form ahead-of-time as there will not be forms available at the event. Chamber officials tell us the forms can be found at the SCDC office or online at www.Sheldoniowa.com.
