Sheldon, Iowa — Eleven Sheldon High School musicians will be headed to West Des Moines for the Iowa Vocal Jazz Championships next week.
Sheldon High School Vocal Director Brandon Lenderink tells us about it.
He tells us who will be going.
Lenderink says there are seven other jazz choirs in Sheldon’s class vying for the title. He tells us about Sheldon’s program.
He says they’d love to see you there.
The event is Tuesday, March 29th at Valley High School’s Staplin Performing Arts Center in West Des Moines. Admission is $10 per person. Other jazz choirs from our area that have been selected include Harris-Lake Park, Central Lyon, and Sibley-Ocheyedan.
