Sheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon laundry, dry cleaning and laundromat business has a new owner as of today (Friday, November 4th).
Bubbles and Bee Kleen owner, Jeri Postma, tells KIWA that she has sold that business to George Carlson of Campus Cleaners in Spirit Lake. Postma says the change of ownership is effective as of today.
Postma, along with her late husband Mark, owned and operated the business for nearly 19 years, and were responsible for construction of the business’ current location, on 3rd Avenue, just south of Highway 18 in Sheldon.
We asked Postma about her future plans, and she said she will be working for the new owners for up to 6 months, helping to smooth the ownership transition. After that she says she plans to do some outside sales work for Top Notch Stitching in Sheldon, another local business in which she has an interest.
Postma says she’s excited about having a little more spare time that she can spend with her grandchildren.
