Sheldon, Iowa — Remodeling of the Sheldon Community Schools new preschool building is underway, and according to Superintendent Cory Myer, progressing nicely.
Myer tells us about how the facility, which is located on the north side of Highway 18 across the street from the high school, will be used.
He says the facility is scheduled for completion in mid-February.
Myer says he thinks the kids will be excited to come into the environment each day.
The Little Orabs Learning Center is located in the former Fantasia building, on the northeast corner of Park Street (Highway 18) and North 18th Avenue. The Sheldon Community Schools purchased the building from Village Northwest Unlimited earlier this year.
Below are some architect’s drawings of what the inside of the Little Orab Learning Center will look like.
