Sheldon, Iowa — Special Olympics is receiving some extra help this holiday season from Taco John’s in Sheldon. And Taco John’s is helping Love INC too.
Taco John’s manager Samantha Culver says this is the 21st year Taco John’s is offering Nachos Navidad during the holidays and donating a portion of the sales. She says that over the years, the group of Taco John’s restaurants of which Sheldon’s restaurant is a part, has supported a variety of charitable causes. Last year a portion of the sales went to the American Diabetes Association.
She says it has been a good promotion for the Tex-Mex franchise restaurant. She tells us what’s on an order of “Nachos Navidad.”
Culver says twenty five cents from every Nachos Navidad sold in their group of Taco John’s restaurants goes to Special Olympics.
She says they’re also doing something else for charity at the Sheldon Taco John’s this year.
Culver invites everyone to give to Special Olympics and Love, INC and get some Nachos Navidad to enjoy.
