Sheldon, Iowa — It seems a bit early to be thinking about prom, but at Sheldon High School they’ll be celebrating prom this weekend.
While the traditional date is a little later in the spring, SHS Prom Advisor Ruth Vogel tells KIWA that prom is early this year due to availability of the venue where the dinner and dance will be held.
Vogel says the festivities will begin with a Social at the high school.
She says the Prom Grand March is open to the public, for a small fee.

Again, the Prom Grand March will be held at the Sheldon High School beginning at 6:00 Saturday evening. The dinner and dance will be held at the Crossroads Pavilion, with After Prom festivities at the Sheldon Middle School.
