SNOW Fun Outing Planned Near Paullina

Paullina, Iowa — You can experience the white stuff of winter from different points of view at an upcoming family activity near Paullina on Monday night.

According to O’Brien County Naturalist Charlene Elyea, the fun family outing will start at 5:00 p.m. at Mill Creek Park, near Paullina. She says “SNOW Fun” is part of the “Immerse in Nature” series which encourages children, families and adults to spend more time outdoors in 2020.

If you’d like to join them, you are to meet near the lodge where there will be a variety of fun and games to get people started enjoying the snow. Activities will depend on snow depth and conditions. They advise you to dress in layers and have a little fun in the snow as the day draws to its close.

For more information, you can contact the O’Brien County Conservation Board at 712-295-7200.
