Sheldon, Iowa — This week, Sheldon Chamber and Development Corporation (SCDC) Community Development Director Curt Strouth announced that he would be leaving the SCDC in July to take another position.
Strouth tells us he has many feelings about the decision.
Strouth says Sheldon is in a good position.
He says the SCDC board is in the preliminary stages of figuring out who’s going to take his place at this time. In his resignation letter, Strouth wrote, “It is extremely important to me that the SCDC is able to transition successfully. In saying that I am willing to assist in whatever capacity is necessary to ensure a smooth transition between directors. Once a new director begins the position, I would be happy to answer any questions.”
Strouth says his last day will be Friday, July 21st.
