UPDATE: Sutherland Boil Advisory

SutherlandSutherland, Iowa — The Boil Advisory that was announced for parts of Sutherland Tuesday afternoon has now been expanded to the entire city.

Sutherland city officials say they have been forced to shut down the entire water system today (Wednesday, April 6th) to allow the new community building to connect. The entire town should now boil all drinking water for the next 48 hours or until 2 clean tests are received back from the lab.

Notices will be posted as soon as they are available to the city office.

Sutherland, Iowa — Part of the City of Sutherland will be under a boil advisory Wednesday and Thursday, April 6th and 7th.

According to the Sutherland City Office, the areas that should be affected are: Second Street from Waterman to Pine Street; Mason Street from Second Street to Fourth Street; and Third Street from Oak Street to Main Street.

Any other areas of town that experience a loss of water should also boil drinking water until further notice.
