Larrabee Woman Facing Felony Drug Charges After Sheldon Police Stop

Sheldon, Iowa — A Larrabee woman has been arrested on felony drug charges after a police stop in Sheldon.

According to a criminal complaint filed with the O’Brien County Clerk of Court’s Office by the Sheldon Police Department, 52-year-old Valorie Recker of Larrabee is accused of possession of a controlled substance. She was arrested on Friday.

Recker told the officer that she had smoked methamphetamine the morning of the stop. Multiple small ziploc baggies normally used to deliver, and/or sell drugs were located in the vehicle. A small digital scale was also located inside of the vehicle, according to the officer.
